Abstract

Poly(ortho ester) intermediate of general formula (I) wherein R1, R2 and R3 are the same or different and each may represent an alkyl group containing from 1 to 10 carbon atoms and preferably from 1 to 6, wherein n represents an integer in the range of from 1 to 20 and preferably from 1 to 10; process for their preparation; adducts of glycidylesters and carboxylic acids and preferably acrylic acids, derived from said ortho esters; coating compositions comprising a binder component derived from said adducts.
