Abstract

Zur Herstellung hohlwandiger, komplexer Bauteile mit Hilfe eines 3D-Computermodells, wird das 3D-Computermodell auf Hinterschnitte geprüft, indem Schnittpunkte, die mit Hilfe von Voxelstrahlen, welche unter einem beliebigen Winkel durch das Bauteil geschickt werden, an den Flächengrenzen gefunden und zu Schnittebenen (3) zusammengefaßt werden, wird das 3D-Modell an diesen Schnittebenen in Scheiben (1a, 1b) zerteilt, womit an den Schnittebenen kein Hinterschnitt mehr vorhanden ist.
