Abstract

A mounting system for fixedly mounting an object to a surface, comprising a mounting bracket (40) having a mounting portion (41) to be fixed to said surface and a projection portion (42) projecting from said mounting portion, the free end of said projection portion embracing a rib (65) of said object from behind, wherein, for the mounting, a lock clip (43) is moved between said mounting portion (41) and said object for urging said object away from said mounting portion (41) of said mounting bracket (40) so that said projection portion (42) of said mounting bracket (40) firmly engages with said rib (65) of said object to prevent a displacement of said mounting bracket (40) relative to said object.
