  • the present invention relates generally to communication networks, and more particularly, to a system and method for making choices among a group of participants connected to such networks using a dynamic distribution of data.
  • One type of group choice tool uses store and forward technology. Initially, a message is sent to participants who are expected to respond to the message with their choices. The participants can then read or respond to the message. Once the sender of the message receives a choice response from some or all of the participants, the sender may send a subsequent message back to the participants indicating the results of the choice making process.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système pouvant être utilisés pour aider à faire des choix, tels que dans un programme, une invitation ou un sondage, dans un groupe de participants (1, 2, 3, 4) reliés à un réseau (5). Un participant crée un formulaire électronique spécifiant le thème d'un sujet choisi ainsi qu'une liste d'adresses réseaux (102) correspondant aux autres participants choisissants. Un serveur (6) reçoit le formulaire et comprend des ressources destinées à remettre un message de courrier électronique associé à un support électronique fournissant divers choix. Lorsque le participant ouvre le message, un support électronique est produit par le serveur (6) lequel contient des régions statiques et dynamiques. Le participant (1) peut entrer un choix à l'aide d'une région interactive. Les régions dynamiques sont actualisées de façon asynchrone dans le serveur (6) et elles indiquent le contenu courant du support électronique auquel les autres participants (2, 3, 4) du groupe peuvent accéder.
