Abstract

La présente invention concerne des procédés de réduction du nombre de 'pages', par exemple de documents HTML, JavaScript/ECMA Script, XML ou analogues, dans des applications d'opération se basant sur des formulaires. Un procédé de l'invention fait intervenir l'utilisation de documents à contenus dynamiques tels que des pages JavaServer qui comprennent une liste de champs requis pour l'exécution d'une opération. Lorsque l'opération débute, le document à contenus dynamiques interagit avec un programme serveur pour déterminer si suffisamment de valeurs sont déjà disponibles dans les champs requis du formulaire, lesdites valeurs provenant par exemple d'un profile utilisateur ou d'une opération antérieure. Si c'est le cas, ces valeurs peuvent être utilisées. Si, pour une ou plusieurs pages, une valeur de champ de formulaire n'est pas disponible, ces pages et seulement ces pages sont mises à la disposition de l'utilisateur, les autres sont supprimées. Dans un autre aspect de l'invention, plutôt que de posséder un ensemble ordonné de pages prédéterminées dont certaines peuvent être supprimées, une pagination juste à temps est réalisée grâce à l'identification des champs qui ne possèdent a priori pas de valeur de champ suffisante. Ces valeurs de champ sont placées telles quelles dans des pages qui sont mises à la disposition de l'utilisateur lorsqu'elles atteignent une taille convenable. Grâce à la pagination juste à temps, les champs de formulaire qui requièrent une entrée de données de la part de l'utilisateur, et seulement ces champs, peuvent être répartis sur des pages de manière à pouvoir être correctement visualisés sur la plate-forme client de l'utilisateur et mis à disposition de l'utilisateur.
