Abstract

The present invention relates to a hygienic protective element for beverage bottles and the like, the main feature of which is that it comprises a sleeve element which can be applied in a bridging relationship with respect to the mouth of a bottle.

Description

Description
HYGIENIC PROTECTIVE ELEMENT FOR BEVERAGE BOTTLES AND THE LIKE
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a hygienic protective element for beverage bottles, such as mineral waters, beer, drinks and the like bottles.
As is known, a very important problem to be solved for drinking a beverage from a bottle, in particular from the neck of the bottle, is that to preserve optimum hygienic conditions which, however, are not frequently satisfactory.
In fact, the region arranged under the closing plug is conventionally protected and sterilized, whereas the outer region is subjected to dirt of any types . Thus, a user cannot hygienically bear his/her lips on such a region.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Accordingly, the aim of the present invention is to provide a hygienic protective element for bottles holding mineral water, beer, beverages and the like, allowing a user to safely bear his/her lips on the bottle mouth, under a perfect hygienic condition. Within the scope of the above mentioned aim, a main object of the present invention is to provide such a hygienic protective element which can be easily and quickly applied to the bottle, while providing the desired hygienic characteristics.
Yet another object of the present invention is . to provide such a hygienic protective element which is very reliable and safe in operation. Yet another object of the present invention is to provide such a hygienic protective element for beverage bottles and the like, which can be easily made starting from easily commercially available elements and materials and which, moreover, is very competitive from a mere economic standpoint.
According to one aspect of the present invention, the above mentioned aim and objects, as well as yet other objects, which will become more apparent hereinafter, are achieved by a hygienic protective elements for bottles for mineral waters, beer, beverages and the like, characterized in that said hygienic protective element comprises a sleeve element which can be applied on the edge of the mouth of the bottle.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Further characteristics and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent hereinafter from the following detailed disclosure of a preferred, though not exclusive, embodiment of a hygienic protective element for beverage bottles and the like which is shown, by way of an indicative, but not limitative, example, in the figures of the accompanying drawings, where: Figure 1 schematically illustrates a bottle with an adjoining protective element according to the present invention; Figure 2 is an exploded perspective view illustrating the protective element and bottle;
Figure 3 is a further perspective view illustrating the hygienic protective element applied to a bottle;
Figure 4 is a cross-sectional view illustrating the hygienic protective element applied to a bottle, which can have any desired size; and
Figure 5 is a schematic view illustrating a mode of use of the subject hygienic protective element .
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
With reference to the number references of the above mentioned figures, the hygienic protective element for beverage bottles according to the present invention comprises a sleeve element, generally indicated by the reference number 1, which is advantageously made of a soft and resilient material, and has an outer mantle 2 which is joined, by a central joining portion 3, to an inner mantle 4.
The sleeve body is, preferably, of soft nature and can be applied by a simple pressing on the mouth 10 of a bottle 11 holding therein a drink or beverage of any desired types.
Advantageously, the sleeve element 1 can be packaged in a sealed bag or the like 20, to be associated with said bottle, thereby allowing a user to immediately obtain the hygienic protective element preserved under very good hygienic conditions .
With the disclosed solution, upon opening the bottle, the user can remove the sleeve element 1 from its protecting bag, and apply it by simply pressing it on the bottle neck, which bottle can have any desired size.
Thus, the outer mantle will encompass all the portions which could be interested by a contact by the user lips.
The inner mantle 4, operating to simply hold the protective element, can have an axial extension smaller than that of the inner mantle.
From the above disclosure it should be apparent that the invention fully achieves the intended aim and objects.
In particular, the fact is to be pointed out that the hygienic protective element according to the present invention is very simple construction- wise and, accordingly, has a very small cost, thereby favoring a great diffusion thereof to the users.
In practicing the invention, the used materials, provided that they are compatible to the intended application, though the best results have been obtained by using flexible materials, as well as the contingent size and shapes, can be any, depending on requirements .
