Description

DOOR LOCKING APPARATUS
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to a door locking apparatus, and in particular to a door locking apparatus which is capable of opening and closing a door effectively using a dual type solenoid valve.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART Generally, a door locking apparatus adapted to a door system is formed by a double locking system, so it is possible to prevent any accident such as a burglary effectively.
In a conventional door locking system, a door locking apparatus includes two locking members for thereby enhancing a reliability of the door locking apparatus . The door locking apparatus is implemented to be ejected or inserted by a key which is used for opening and closing the door locking apparatus . In addition, in the conventional door locking apparatus in which the door is opened and closed based on an ejection and insertion of the locking member in accordance with an external input signal, the ejection and insertion of the locking member are not easily implemented in accordance with an external input signal. So, it is difficult for the locking apparatus to be applied to the appratus that requires a very sensitive control.
DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, an objective of the present invention is to provide a door locking apparatus which makes it possible to open and close a door accurately in accordance with an external signal such as a fingerprint detection signal. The fingerprint detection signal is implemented by providing the first and second rotors installed in a center portion of a housing and rotated by a rotational operation of a door knob, and a solenoid valve capable of controlling a linear movement of two locking members effectively in forward and backward movements.
To achieve the above-mentioned objective, there is a so-called door locking apparatus, according to the present invention, which is installed m a housing formed in the interior of the system for engaging and receiving each element of a door locking apparatus therein, the first rotor engaged in a center of the housing and being rotatable at a certain angle based on an operation of a door knob installed in an outer portion of the door, the second rotor engaged in the first rotor and being rotatable in the reverse direction of the first rotor, the first locking member disposed at an upper portion of the housing of the door locking apparatus and being linearly movable in an inward direction of the housing by the rotational movement of the first rotor and a guide pin, the second locking member disposed at a lower portion of the door locking apparatus and being movable m the same direction as the first locking member based on a rotational movement of the second rotor and being moved to the original position when the door knob is not gripped, the first solenoid disposed at an end portion of the first locking member and having an ejecting pin which is protruded and inserted into an inner center portion for implementing a linear movement of the first locking member, the second solenoid for controlling opening and closing operations of a door by controlling the movement of the first locking member by upwardly and downwardly moving the ejecting pin m a groove formed at a lower portion of the first locking member, spring members engaged in the first and the second engaging members, respectively, for moving the first and second locking members which are moved by the first and second rotors to their original positions, and a detection sensor for detecting an ejected and inserted state of the first locking member in the housing and transferring a certain signal to a main controller. Additional advantages, objects and features of the invention will become more apparent in the following description . BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
The present invention will become more fully understood from the detailed description given hereinbelow and the accompanying drawings which are given by illustrations only and thus are not limited to the present invention, and wherein :
Figure 1 is a schematic perspective view illustrating an installatmg state of a door locking apparatus according to the present invention; Figure 2 is a front view illustrating a door locking apparatus for explaining an inner structure of a door locking apparatus according to the present invention; and
Figure 3 is a perspective view illustrating the first and second rotor of Figure 2 according to the present invention.
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
The embodiments of the present invention will be explained with references to the accompanying drawings . Figure 1 is a schematic perspective view illustrating an installatmg state of a door locking apparatus according to the present invention, and Figure 2 is a front view illustrating a door locking apparatus for explaining an inner structure of a door locking apparatus according to the present invention. In addition, Figure 3 is a perspective view illustrating the first and second rotors of Figure 2 according to the present invention.
As shown therein, the door locking apparatus 20 according to the present invention includes a cuboid housing 15 formed in the interior of the system for engaging and receiving each element of a door locking apparatus therein, the first and second rotors 1 and 3 disposed at a center portion of the housing 15 and being rotatable at a certain angle based on an operation of a door knob 13 installed at an outer portion of the door, the first locking member 11 being linearly movable a certain direction by the rotational movement of the first rotor 1, the second locking member 12 being movable in the same direction as the first locking member 11 based on the rotational movement of the first rotor 1, the first solenoid 5 disposed at an end portion of the first locking member 9 for implementing opening and closing operations of the first locking member 9, a second solenoid 5 engaged in a groove formed at a lower portion of the first locking member 9 for controlling the movement of the first locking member 9, and spring members engaged m the first locking member 9 and the second engaging member 12 for returning the locking members to their original positions.
Namely, the locking apparatus according to the present invention includes a space for receiving elements therein. A cuboid housing 15 is provided, and the first rotor 1 is rotatably installed m a center of the housing 15. The first rotor 1 includes a cylindrical body lc into which a rotary shaft of a door knob is inserted based on the rotation of the door knob 13, a rod shaped first rotation member la extended from the body lc an upward-inclining direction, and the first engaging shoulder portion lb extended in a downward-inclining direction.
The second rotor 2 includes the second rotation member 3a which is engaged in the first engaging shoulder portion lb of the first rotor 1, rotated in the reverse direction of the first engaging shoulder portion lb, and connected to the second locking member 12 by the guide pm 17.
With the above-described construction, in the first rotor 1, when the first rotation member la is rotated by the rotation of the outside knob 13, and the first locking member 11 is linearly moved in the rightward direction, the second engaging shoulder portion 3b engaged in the first engaging shoulder portion lb of the first rotor 1 is rotated. Therefore, the rotation member 3a of the second rotor is rotated, and the second locking member 12 is moved in the rightward direction. The first solenoid 5 according to the present invention disposed at the front end portion of the first locking member 11 controls the movement of the first locking member 11. Namely, the first solenoid 5 includes the e ectnng p 12 disposed at the inner center portion so that the first solenoid 5 is ejected or inserted by the spring (not shown) in accordance with a certain electrical signal. Therefore, the ejecting pm 12 is downwardly moved by operating the solenoid 5, m accordance with an external signal, in a state that the ejecting pm 12 of the first solenoid 5 is upwardly ejected so that the first locking member 11 is moved in the rightward direction for thereby opening the door . As the first solenoid 5 is operated, the ejecting pm 12 is downwardly moved, and then the first locking member 11 is moved in the rightward direction. In this state, the first locking member 11 is moved by the second solenoid 6 and then is fully fixed. However, when the first locking member 11 is fully moved m the rightward direction, the second locking member 12 is also moved in the rightward direction but is returned to the original position by the recovering force of the spring 10. At this time, as the second engaging shoulder portion 3b is upwardly moved, the first engaging shoulder portion lb engaged thereto is also upwardly moved. Since there is not a certain obstacle in the way of the first rotation member la, the first rotation member la is freely rotated, and the returning operation of the second locking member 12 is implemented .
The operation of the door locking apparatus according to the present invention will be explained with reference to the accompanying drawings . In a state that the door is closed, namely, the first locking member 11 and the second locking member 12 are ejected from the housing 15 of the door locking apparatus. When the first solenoid 5 according to the present invention is operated in accordance with an external signal, the door is opened by using the outside door knob 13, and the rotation members la and 3a of the first and second rotors 1 and 3 positioned at the center portion of the housing 15 of the door locking apparatus are rotated and moved from the points A and A1 to the points B and B' .
In this state, the first and second locking members 11 and 12 are inserted into the interior of the housing 15 of the door locking apparatus by the guide pms 16 and 17 so that the door can be opened.
Next, when the door knob on the outside 13 is not gripped, the second locking member 12 and the second rotor 3 are moved to the original positions by the spring 10 disposed m the second locking member 12. In a state that the door is open, the first locking member 11 is inserted into a groove (not shown) formed at the lower portion of the first locking member 11 by the spring disposed below the second solenoid 6 so that the opened state of the door can be maintained. However, in the automatic locking mode of the door locking apparatus or when a certain button, for example, a start button installed in the door locking apparatus or m an outer portion of the housing, is pushed, the second solenoid 6 is quickly operated, and the first locking member 11, which goes back to its locked state, is thus moved from the point A' to the point A by the spring 9 connected to the first locking member 11. At this time, the detection sensor 7 detects the closed state of the door based on the movement of the first locking member 11 by the plate spring 8 and transfers a signal to the mam controller (not shown) so that the signal gets disconnected from the mam controller.
In addition, the first and second solenoids 5 and 6 are constructed so that the ejection pms 12 and 16 are ejected or inserted by an elastic force of the spring . As described above, in the door locking apparatus according to the present invention, the first and second rotors are rotated at the same time for thereby opening the door based on the rotation of the door knob. The first locking member may maintain an opened state by the spring member or the solenoid and a closed state in accordance with an external signal so that the door opening and closing operations are effectively controlled.
Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been disclosed for illustrative purposes, those who are skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as recited in the accompanying claims .
