Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und ein Gerät zum berührungslosen Ermitteln der mechanischen Steifigkeit von harten als auch weichen biologischen Materialien (z.B. Gelenkknorpel) in Körperhöhlen (z.B. arthroskopisch) unter einem definierten Flüssigkeitsstrahl. In einem vorgegebenen Meßbereich wird mit einem optischen Verfahren die Distanz zwischen der Meßvorrichtung und der Meßoberfläche (z.B. Gelenkfläche) kontinuierlich gemessen. Die erfindungsgemäße Lösung eignet sich zum Messen der mechanischen Steifigkeit von nativem Knorpel, Gelenkknorpelersatz, Knorpeldefektfüllungen oder anderen biologischen Materialien und damit zur benutzerunabhängigen und schnellen Beurteilung der Qualität von Regeneraten im Vergleich zum nativen Ausgangsmaterial.
