Abstract
Ausgehend davon, dass das Funksystem zumindest eine Funkbasisstation (BS) zum drahtlosen Senden und Empfangen von Daten über eine Funkschnittstelle (AI) zu/von einem Kommunikationsendgerät (MT) aufweist, ist erfindungsgemäß die Funkbasisstation (BS) in einem Gebäude angeordnet und als Steckernetzteil (SNT) mit integriertem Funkmodul (BTM) zum Anschluß an die Funkschnittstelle und integriertem Modem (PLM) zum Anschluß an eine Stromnetzversorgungsleitung (SVL) ausgebildet. Durch die Ausbildung als Steckernetzteil nutzt die Funkbasisstation die in nahezu jedem Gebäude vorhandene Stromnetzversorgungsleitung, um die Daten einerseits über diese Leitung und andererseits über die Funkstrecke zu transportieren. Vorteilhaft wird die aufwendige und teure LAN-Verkabelung innerhalb von Gebäuden überflüssig, eine beträchtliche Kosteneinsparung ist die Folge. Wird zugleich ein Steckernetzteil gemäß der Erfindung verwendet, entfällt eine Montage komplett.

Beschreibung
Funksystem
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Funksystem mit zumindest einer
Funkbasisstation zum drahtlosen Senden und Empfangen von Daten über eine Funkschnittstelle zu/von einem Kommunikationsendgerat.
Es ist allgemein bekannt, dass Funksysteme wie beispielsweise ein Schnurlossystem oder ein Mobilfunksystem eine oder mehrere Funkbasisstationen zum drahtlosen Senden und Empfangen von Daten über eine Funkschnittstelle zu/von einem Kommunikationsendgerat aufweisen. Die Funkbasisstation kann m Gebäuden über ein Lokales Netz (LAN, Local Area Network) oder durch Einzelverkabelung an einen zentralen Datenknoten zum Transport der verbmdungs- und paketorientierten Daten im Teilneh- merendbereich angeschlossen sein.
Es ist Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, ein verbessertes
Funksystem zur Datenübertragung im Teilnehmerendbereich anzugeben.
Diese Aufgabe wird gemäß der Erfindung durch die Merkmale des Patentanspruchs 1 gelost. Weiterbildungen der Erfindung sind m den Unteranspruchen angegeben.
Ausgehend davon, dass das Funksystem zumindest eine Funkba- sisstation zum drahtlosen Senden und Empfangen von Daten über eine Funkschnittstelle zu/von einem Kommunikationsendgerat aufweist, ist erfmdungsgemäß die Funkbasisstation m einem Gebäude angeordnet und als Steckernetzteil mit integriertem Funkmodul zum Anschluß an die Funkschnittstelle und integriertem Modem zum Anschluß an eine Stromnetzversorgungslei- tung ausgebildet. Durch die Ausbildung als Steckernetzteil nutzt die Funkbasisstation die m nahezu jedem Gebäude vorhandene Stromnetzversorgungsleitung, um die Daten einerseits
über diese Leitung und andererseits über die Funkstrecke zu transportieren. Vorteilhaft wird die aufwendige und teure LAN-Verkabelung innerhalb von Gebäuden überflüssig, eine betrachtliche Kosteneinsparung ist die Folge. Wird zugleich ein Steckernetzteil gemäß der Erfindung verwendet, entfallt eine Montage komplett.
Das Gehäuse der Funkbasisstation ist darüber hinaus einfacher und/oder kleiner aufzubauen. Das Anbringen eines Steckers und/oder eines Kabels an der Funkbasisstation entfallt. Fehl- bedienungen sind nahezu ausgeschlossen, Fehler bei der Installation durch unsachgemasse Handhabung nicht mehr möglich. Zudem kann der Stromnetzversorgungs-Anschluss den klassischen ISDN-Anschluss außerhalb des Gebäudes ersetzen.
Insbesondere sind gemäß gunstiger Weiterbildungen der Erfindung ein Datennetzanschluss - beispielsweise an das Internet - und/oder ein Telefonanschluß über die Stromnetzversorgungs- leitung in Kombination mit der Funkubertragung zum Teilnehmer bzw. dessen Kommunikationsendgerat möglich.
Die Erfindung wird anhand eines m einer Zeichnung dargestellten Ausfuhrungsbeispiels naher erläutert. Im einzelnen zeigen
FIG 1 ein Blockschaltbild des erfmdungsgemaßen Funksystems mit einer Funkbasisstation, und
FIG 2 ein Blockschaltbild der Anordnung der Funkbasisstati- on in einem Gebäude zum Anschluß an ein Kommunikationsnetz .
FIG 1 zeigt m einem prinzipiellen Blockschaltbild ein Funksystem, das eine Funkschnittstelle AI zwischen einer Funkba- sisstation BS und einem Kommunikationsendgerat MT zur drahtlosen Übertragung von Daten in beiden Übertragungsrichtungen (uplmk/downlmk) aufweist. Beispielhaft sind als Kommunika-
tionsendgeräte MT ein Mobiltelefon sowie ein Computer - beispielsweise ein Laptop - abgebildet, die jeweils ein Funkmodul zum Senden/Empfangen von Signalen über die Luft aufweisen. Gemäß dem Gegenstand der Erfindung ist die Funkbasissta- tion BS als Steckernetzteil SNT ausgebildet, das vorzugsweise zwei Anschlusskontaktstifte zum Einsetzen der Funkbasisstation BS in eine Steckdose des in einem Gebäude vorhandenen Stromversorgungsnetzes besitzt. Es sei im vorliegenden Beispiel angenommen, dass das Stromversorgungsnetz und die Stromversorgungsleitung SVL die bekannte 230 Volt Netzspannung sowie 50 Hertz Netzfrequenz unterstützt. Die Stromversorgungsleitung SVL verbindet die Funkbasisstation BS entweder direkt oder über ein Zugangsnetz (Access Network) mit einem Kommunikationsnetz in Form beispielsweise eines Fern- sprechnetzes PSTN und/oder eines Datennetzes - vorzugsweise dem Internet. In die als Steckernetzteil SNT ausgebildete Funkbasisstation BS ist gemäß dem Gegenstand der Erfindung ein Funkmodul BTM zum Anschluß an die Funkschnittstelle AI und ein Modem PLM zum Anschluß an die Stromnetzversorgungs- leitung SVL integriert. Dabei stellt das Funkmodul BTM eine drahtlose Verbindung der Funkbasisstation BS von/zu dem Kommunikationsendgerät MT im Teilnehmerendbereich her, während das Modem PLM eine leitungsgebundene Kopplung der Funkbasis- station BS mit dem Stromversorgungsnetz und anschließend mit dem zur Datenübertragung vorgesehenen Kommunikationsnetz realisiert. Ein gemeinsames Kontrollmodul CONM steuert das Funkmodul BTM und das Modem PLM zur Durchführung der bei der Datenübertragung und der gegenseitigen Kommunikation anfallenden Prozesse.
Das Funkmodul BTM ist vorzugsweise als Bluetooth-Funkmodul zum drahtlosen Anschluß an ein Bluetooth-Kommunikationsendgerät MT ausgebildet, was bedeutet, dass das endgeräteseitige Sende/Empfänger-Modul und das netzseitige Sende/Empfänger- Modul auf beiden Seiten der Funkschnittstelle AI eine Funk- übertragungsbandbreite von bis zu 700 Kilobit pro Sekunde gemäß den an sich bekannten Bluetooth-Spezifikationen unter-
stützen. Vorzugsweise ist das Modem PLM in Anlehnung an das obige Beispiel als 230 Volt-Modem ausgebildet und unterstützt auf der Stromnetzversorgungsleitung SVL eine Datenverbindung mit einer Datenübertragungsbandbreite von bis zu zwei Megabit pro Sekunde. Dies ist besonders für kleinere Gebäude ideal und ermöglicht für Betreiber von Kommunikationsnetzen den Aufbau einer kompletten WAN/LAN (Wireless Access Net- work/Local Area Network) Infrastruktur.
FIG 2 zeigt das Blockschaltbild der Anordnung der erfindungsgemäß als Steckernetzteil SNT ausgebildeten Funkbasisstation BS in einem Gebäude G zum Anschluß oder an mindestens ein Kommunikationsnetz PSTN, INT. Der Anschluß erfolgt über die Stromversorgungsleitung SVL des Stromversorgungsnetzes entwe- der direkt oder über ein zwischengeschaltetes Zugangsnetz AN (Access Network) . Das Stromversorgungsnetz, mit dem jede Funkbasisstation BS durch Ausgestaltung als Steckernetzteil SNT verbunden ist, stellt ein Lokales Netz LAN im Teilnehmerendbereich innerhalb des Gebäudes G dar, das zur Datenüber- tragung nicht zusätzlich verkabelt zu werden braucht. Die
Kombination eines Funkmoduls zum drahtlosen Anschluss an die Funkschnittstelle mit einem Modem zum Anschluss an die Stromversorgungsleitung SVL in einem einzigen Steckernetzteil gemäß der Erfindung liefert eine Funkbasisstation, mit der ein bezüglich Aufwand, Kosten und Wartung optimiertes Funksystem zur Datenübertragung im Teilnehmerendbereich innerhalb von Gebäuden realisierbar ist.
Als Funkschnittstelle zwischen dem Kommunikationsendgerat und der Funkbasisstation wird vorzugsweise ein bestehender Funk- Standard oder Schnurlos-Standard verwendet, jedoch ist die Erfindung nicht auf einen solchen beschränkt. Als besonders geeignet hat sich die Funkübertragung gemäß Bluetooth erwiesen.
Claims
1. Funksystem mit zumindest einer Funkbasisstation (BS) zum drahtlosen Senden und Empfangen von Daten über eine Funk- schnittsteile (AI) zu/von einem Kommunikationsendgerat (MT) , d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t, dass die Funkbasisstation (BS) m einem Gebäude (G) angeordnet und als Steckernetzteil (SNT) mit integriertem Funkmodul (BTM) zum Anschluss an die Funkschnittstelle (AI) und mte- griertem Modem (PLM) zum Anschluss an eine Stromnetzversor- gungsleitung (SVL) ausgebildet ist.
2. Funksystem nach Anspruch 1, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t, dass das Modem (PLM) über die Stromnetzversorgungsleitung
(SVL) an mindestens ein leitungsgebundenes Kommunikationsnetz (PSTN, INT) angeschlossen ist.
3. Funksystem nach Anspruch 2, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t, dass das Kommunikationsnetz als Datennetz (INT) ausgebildet
4. Funksystem nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t, dass das Kommunikationsnetz als Fernsprechnetz (PSTN) ausgebildet ist.
5. Funksystem nach einem der vorgehenden Ansprüche, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t, dass die als Steckernetzteil (SNT) ausgebildete Funkbasisstation (BS) ein Bluetooth-Funkmodul (BTM) zum drahtlosen Anschluß an ein Bluetooth-Kommunikationsendgerat (MT) aufweist.
