Abstract

We interpret the useful effect of each member using for example the number of times a user clicks on each advertisement. The members of this population generate a plurality of descendants of these advertisements which inherit characteristics from their parents. The members of the population which present a useful effect better than that of the others are selected preferentially for the next generation. By a continuous preferential selection of parents having a better useful effect than that of the others, the chance of generating offspring presenting a better useful effect increases. The propagation of particular characteristics or combinations of characteristics in this evolutionary process makes it possible to indicate and verify those of advertising characteristics which give effective results.
