Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé destinés à un système de télécommunications comprenant un central (1), lequel comporte un dispositif de connexion au réseau (6) permettant à un utilisateur (A) de connecter un ordinateur (12) à un réseau de transmission données (3), de même qu'un serveur téléphonique (7) permettant à cet utilisateur, lors d'une session en cours sur le réseau de données, d'utiliser le téléphone sur la même ligne abonné (14) qu'il utilise pour la connexion au réseau de données. L'invention rend plus efficace la gestion des informations utilisateur, dans le central (1), en dotant le dispositif de connexion au réseau et le serveur téléphonique d'informations utilisateur, lesquelles sont entrées dans une seule base de données (10) utilisateur. Cette base de données sert au personnel de gestion et d'entretien qui entre des informations statiques utilisateur ainsi que des informations utilisateur associées à une session, ces informations étant obtenue lors d'une commande d'accès au niveau de la connexion avec le réseau de données (3). Les informations situées dans la base de données sont accessibles à la fois au dispositif de connexion au réseau et au serveur téléphonique, ce qui rend inutile une seconde commande d'accès, lors de l'activation du téléphone, pendant une session en cours sur le réseau de données. L'invention diminue la quantité d'informations utilisateur en double dans le central et facilite la gestion des informations utilisateur dans ce central.
