Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de transformation du génome d'un oeillet (Dianthus L.) grâce à une molécule d'ADN. Le procédé consiste : (a) à préparer des explants de tiges à partir de boutures d'oeillets ; (b) à pratiquer des lésions sur les explants par bombardement avec des microprojectiles ; (c) à co-cultiver les explants lésés avec Agrobacterium comprenant la molécule d'ADN dans des conditions définies d'exposition à l'obscurité puis à la lumière ; (d) à exciser les pousses provenant des explants lésés et à retirer les feuilles des pousses ; et (e) à mettre en culture les feuilles pour obtenir des pousses transgéniques transformées à l'aide de la molécule d'ADN. L'invention concerne également un oeillet transgénique rolC possédant des caractéristiques agronomiques améliorées et au parfum des fleurs mis en valeur grâce à l'élimination antisens du gène flavonoïde $i(fht.)
