Abstract

Fluid cosmetic formulations such as antiperspirants or deodorants are conventionally applied topically using a roll-on applicator. An invention package comprises an upright container (1) having a flexible sidewall area which can be squeezed, a flat base (5) and an open top (7) that is closed by a convex closure (2) having an aperture (13) through which the container contents can flow. The aperture preferably connects to a down tube (18). The package is suitable for applying thin liquids or viscous liquids or creams or gels which flow under hand squeezing.
