Abstract

An adhesive vinyl film (1) attached below a sticker (2) to be attached to an object, and a sticker with the adhesive vinyl film. The adhesive vinyl film includes: a polyester of approximately 70 to 90 percent by weight; a polyvinyl of approximately 5 to 25 percent by weight; and a chloride of 10 percent or less by weight. The sticker with the adhesive vinyl film can be attached to the object by application of pressure, or by wetting the surface of the adhesive vinyl film facing the object prior to the applicaiton of pressure. The vinyl film has flexibility and the surface of the sticker has a good printing property, so that the adhesive vinyl film can be used in connection with copies for books, wrapping paper or placards.

Description

ADHESIVE VINYL FILM AND STICKER WITH THE SAME
Technical Field
The present device relates to an adhesive vinyl film to be attached below a sticker to be adhered to an object and a sticker with the adhesive vinyl film, and more particularly, to an adhesive vinyl film that is easy attach and has improved adhesive properties and a sticker with the adhesive vinyl film, which does not require a release liner and can be attached to the object by pressure or by wetting the surface of the adhesive vinyl film facing the object prior to the attachment by pressure
Background Art
In attaching a predetermined label to an object a label having an adhesive backing or a label which needs adhesive for attachment have been used Alternatively, an adhesive portion is heated to obtain a flexibility temporarily such that the adhesive portion is activated until the adhesive portion is cured
However, the conventional attachment processes require troublesome processes For example, in using the label having the adhesive backing, because the label has a release liner such as vinyl, which is necessary to prevent separation of the adhesive backing or misattachement of the label, the release liner must be separated from the label prior to the attachment Other than the inconvenience in attaching the label, it is not very easy to detach the label in whole from an object In other words, part of the adhesive backing or part of the label may remain on the object, which occurs frequently in the surroundings In particular, an object from which a label is difficult to detach is not suitable for recycling, which increases economical loss
The problems in conventional label attachment include the need for additional troublesome processes for example separation of a release liner and a heating process for activating adhesiveness and the difficulty in separating the label from an object In addition since part of the label remains on the object it is difficult to recover the label in whole and cleaning of the object is required for reuse Furthermore, repair of the label or cleaning on the object are not sufficient to return the label or the object into its initial whole state
Disclosure of the Invention
To solve the above problems, it is an object of the present invention to provide an adhesive vinyl film capable of being applied to an object having a smooth surface, such as glass, painted or varnished object without causing the above-mentioned problems, and a sticker with the adhesive vinyl film An aspect of the present invention is achieved by an adhesive vinyl film attached below a sticker, comprising a polyester of approximately 70 to 90 percent by weight, a polyvinyl of approximately 5 to 25 percent by weight, and a chloride of 10 percent or less by weight
In another aspect of the present invention, a sticker with the adhesive vinyl film allows for easy attachment and detachment The sticker with the adhesive vinyl film can be applied to the object by pressure or by wetting the surface of the adhesive vinyl film facing the object prior to the attachment by pressure
Brief Description of the Drawings
FIG 1 is a perspective view of a sticker with an adhesive vinyl film according to the device of the present invention, and
FIG 2 is a sectional view of the sticker with the adhesive vinyl film
Best mode for carrying out the Invention
The present invention will now be described more fully with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which preferred embodiments of the device are shown This device may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as being limited to the embodiments set forth herein Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete and will fully convey the concept of the device to those skilled in the art As opposed to common vinyl, a vinyl film 1 shown in FIGS 1 and 2 comprises a polyester of 80% by weight, a polyvinyl of 50% by weight and a chloride of 15% by weight The vinyl film 1 exhibits superior adhesiveness with this composition If the composition of the vinyl film 1 is not within the composition ratio, the desired adhesive strength cannot be achieved
The vinyl film 1 has a lubricant surface and improved flexibility Also, the vinyl film 1 can be readily attached on an object with a smooth surface just by applying pressure Alternatively, the surface of the vinyl film 1 may be wetted for an enhanced adhesive force A surface layer 3 of a sticker 2 may be imprinted with various patterns, images or letters, and the sticker 2 has an adhesive layer 4 at its bottom surface to be attached to the top surface of the vinyl film 1 The sticker 2 is attached to the vinyl film 1 and then to an object
The feature of the prevent device lies in the vinyl film 1 rather than the sticker 2 being directly attached to the object, and the composition of the vinyl film 1 allows for easy attachment to and detachment from the object
In greater detail, the sticker 2 is attached to the top surface of the vinyl film 1 via the adhesive layer 4, and the bottom surface 5 of the vinyl film 1 serves as an adhesive surface to be attached to the object, so that the entire sticker 3, the adhesive layer 4 and the vinyl film 1 in whole are attached to or detached from the object
As described above, by interposing the vinyl film between a sticker to be attached and an object, the attachment and detachment of the sticker can be easily applied with enhanced adhesiveness The vinyl film is seldom separated from the object by a considerably strong force or by exposure to sunshine If the object to which the sticker is attached has a smooth surface, the sticker can be detached from the object as a whole and no adhesive remains on the surface of the object
In the drawings and specification, typical preferred embodiments of the device are disclosed and although specific terms are employed, they are used in a generic and descriptive sense only and not for purposes of limitation, the scope of the invention being set fourth in the following claims Industrial Applicability
The sticker according to the present device may have a wide application range, and may also be used for various purposes, for example, as a car registration sticker a sticker with photo Also, if the surface of the object is cleaned before attachment of the sticker with the vinyl film, the attachment of the sticker to the object can be sustained for a loner period of
In the adhesive vinyl film and the sticker with the vinyl film according to the present invention, the vinyl film has flexibility and the surface of the stickerhas a good printing property Thus, the adhesive vinyl film can be used in connection with copies for books wrapping paper or placards
