Abstract

L'invention concerne des techniques permettant de programmer en continu un processeur de signaux spatio-spectro-optiques transitoires continus, qui consiste à appliquer de manière répétée plusieurs impulsions (E) de programmation optique spatialement distinctes à un matériau de claquage de trou non persistant, afin d'enregistrer un réseau de population spatio-spectral à l'aide d'impulsions optiques de faible intensité par rapport à la programmation en une passe. Un flux de données optiques est introduit sur un faisceau de traitement (311, 321, 331, 341), produisant un signal de sortie de processeur spatialement distinct de toutes les impulsions de traitement. La programmation et le traitement s'effectuent de manière simultanée, asynchrone et continue. Dans le cas des réseaux accumulés, il est important de prendre en compte la stabilité de la fréquence de la source. Dans l'hypothèse d'une source optique suffisamment stable, des simulations montrent qu'un réseau accumulé (et maintenu) à l'état stable, à la fois pour l'enregistrement d'un retard en temps vrai et/ou d'une forme d'onde à modèles, peut être très efficace par utilisation de matériaux couramment disponibles, du type de celui qui est prévu pour un dispositif à porte de commande de photons parfait. L'invention concerne également une démonstration expérimentale du concept de programmation continue pour des retards en temps vrai programmés à l'aide d'impulsions comprimées, qui montre l'accumulation du réseau à l'aide de faibles impulsions de zone pendant un certain temps jusqu'à ce que ledit réseau atteigne l'état stable, pendant des durées supérieures à la longévité du matériau.
