PROCESS FOR CENTERING AND ALIGNMENT AND DEVICE THEREOF
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a process and a device for centering two semi-coupling for shafts designed for the machine building field and for any other elements which need to be centered and aligned.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Currently there is in use a centering process of two semi-couplings for shafts which consists of controlling the radial and angular centering of one coupling toward the other one using a universal measurement system provided with a comparator and magnetic shoe. Such process does not guarantee, in case of nay control of the radial and angular centering, the correct measure of the revise displacement in each drive element bearing provided with afferent specific regulation and fastening elements, the centering being executed through successive exploring. Another defect of this process is the deviation is measured independently and the correction of the angular deviations is executed using two universal measurement systems provided with a comparator and magnetic shoe. Furthermore this centering process is quasi- dynamic executed by rotating a semi-coupling toward the other one which is set.
There is also known an universal deviations controlling device with a comparator and magnetic shoe for centering two semi-couplings for shafts which device, in order to determine the coaxiality, is composed of many holder arms which need to be adjusted and due to the rotating motion occupy a considerable space and needs to be repositioned for each radial
and angular deviation, resulting therefore positioning errors confronted by the previous positioning. Another defect of this device is the work productivity is low due to the fact the device is not specialised.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
In view of these defects this invention is devised that the process consists of two Cartesian systems of coordinates, of which one is set OXYZ, attached to the driven semi-coupling and one moveable oxyz attached to the driving coupling, provided with afferent regulation and fastening elements, specifying to the centering operation and also to accomplish a device which measures the relative position between said semi-couplings.
The process for centering of two semi-couplings for shafts according to the invention consists of executing the centering control inside the elastic element seat and allowing the two semi- coupling relative position determination by introducing a device in the elastic element seat in order to enable the correct assembly of a device support, using a sliding key operated by a screw and the device slide provided with a measurement head allowing a stroke big as possible so, after the semi-coupling locking and in order to prevent the semi-coupling rotation one toward another, the measurement head feeler to display the relative position of the driving semi-coupling confronted with the driven semi-coupling through some linear control displacements Δz - measured by a two-points comparator (z1 ; z2) and relative deviations Δx and Δy, corresponding as deviations of oz axis from OZ axis, by some comparators, according to the following mathematics equations relations:
λ-, - x. Ax
Δx = Ar * tgt
'g" ' . -. - z. ' A.-
:--->
Δv = Δr * #/3
Z-, — .- , Δ-
and then, using the similarity of the triangles formeάOf the Cartesian system origin OXYZ, the OZ axis and the points of regulation afferent to the driving element of the semi-coupling which is to be regulated, the revise displacement in OXZ and OYZ projection planes of each support on OZ axis is determined according to the above-mentioned mathematics relations; the dimension z=0 is regulated, corresponding the prescribed frontal clearance between the semi-<ioupiings;. the .relative deviations Δx. and Δygre eliminated throuoh corrections until Δx=0 and Δy=o are obtained; in this conditions the homologous ruled surfaces of the said semi-couplings are parallel two by two ana equidistantly placed confronted by the OZ axis of the parallelipipedic seat of the reinforced elastic elements and, according to the initial device regulation on a gauge with a parallelepipedic seat, identical with the elastic element seat, hence pointing out the origin of the OXYZ Cartesian system when the feelers are in contact with the inner gauge walls due to the comparators regulation at zero.
The device for centering two semi-couplings for shafts according to the invention is composed of a support, provided with a guiding rib fastened on the driven semi-coupling with a sliding key operated through a screw and provided with a roller at the elastic element seat go on width, materializing therefore the set system of coordinates OXYZ; on the support is sliding a device slide on which a measurement head is assembled which is provided with some feelers orthogonal placed on three directions, measuring the relative deviation of the driving semi-coupling confronted with the driven semi-coupling, or the relative deviation of the oxyz system confronted with OXYZ system; in the feelers are fastened some
nonextensible wires, tensed by some springs and oriented with some rollers which can rotate in some bearings and are protected with some flexible nonextensible sheaths, fastened at their ends with some clamps and some screws; at the opposite end the wires are tied through some special couplings by some comparators rods (corresponding to the ox, oy, oz axis), tied in some clamps through some screws, on a support.
The advantages of the present invention are:
- the centering of the semi-coupling is extremely precise, a single right line being determinate by two points, therefore both the shaft angular deviation and the shaft radial deviation being corrected by a single determination;
- the precise centering allows the vibrations during the functioning regime to be eliminated and the driving and driven elements bearings of the coupling to increase the functioning time;
- the work productivity is high due to the specialization of the device which allows the regulation of the driving element barrel supports;
- the device for the centering control may be executed in different tipodimensions on different measurement principles, according to the needed accuracy: air-operated, magnetic - electric or optic.
Other objects and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent to those skilled in the art in view of the following description and the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
The process for centering of two semi-couplings for shafts according to the invention consists of approximately positioning of the semi-couplings so the walls of a parallelepipedic seat of the driven semi-coupling are piaced tn horizontal plane, respectively vertical plane, according to the driving semi-coupling support in those two planes, in order to ease the regulation and of introducing a device in the elastic element seat in order to enable the correct assembly of a device support, using a sliding key operated by a screw and the device slide provided with
a measurement head allowing a-stroke big as possible so, afterthe semi-coupling locking and in order to prevent the semi-coupling rotation one toward another, the measurement head feeler to display the relative position of the driving semi-coupling confronted with the driven semi-coupling through some linear control displacements Δz - measured by a two-points comparator (z1 ; z2) and relative deviations Δx and Δy, corresponding as deviations of oz axis from OZ axis, by some comparators, according to the following mathematics equat tiions relations:
and then, using the similarity of the triangles formed of the Cartesian system origin OXYZ, the OZ axis and the points of regulation afferent to the driving element of the semi-coupling which is to be regulated, the revise displacement in OXZ and OYZ projection plane of each support on OZ axis is determined according to the above-mentioned mathematics relations; the dimension z=0 is regulated, corresponding the prescribed frontal clearance between the semi-couplings; the relative deviations Δx and Δyare eliminated through corrections until Δx=0 and Δy=o are obtained; in this conditions the homologous ruled surfaces of the said semi-couplings are parallel two by two and equidistantly placed confronted by the OZ axis of the parallelepipedic seat of the reinforced elastic elements and, according to the initial device regulation on a gauge with parallelepipedic seat, identical with the elastic element seat, hence pointing out the origin of the OXYZ Cartesian system when the feelers are in contact with the inner gauge walls due to the comparators regulation at zero.
