Abstract

The invention relates to a radio measuring method and to auxiliary means thereof for carrying out the method, said auxiliary means being at least one transportable transmitter and at least one transportable receiver. According to the inventive method, a tightly bundled radio signal with a beam-like maximum is emitted via a directional antenna (6) by the at least one transmitter (5) which is utilized in a stationary manner. Said signal is received via a reception antenna system by the receiver (4) which is utilized in a mobile manner. The receiver additionally comprises an evaluation device which is provided for recording and indicating the maximum and toward which the reception antenna system of the receiver is oriented so that an imaginary connecting line (7) is established between the transmitter (6) and the reception antenna system or the receiver (4). The position of the mobile receiver (4) or of the reception antenna system thereof is then determined with the aid of the connecting line.
