Abstract

L'invention concerne une méthode, un produit de programme informatique et un système (100) d'analyse informatisée de la probabilité de malignité dans un nodule pulmonaire à l'aide de réseaux neuronaux artificiels (RNA) (S4). La méthode sur laquelle sont basés le produit de programme informatique et le système consiste à obtenir un profil numérique d'un nodule, à produire des mesures objectives correspondant à des caractéristiques physiques du profil du nodule, à appliquer les mesures objectives produites à un RNA, et à déterminer une probabilité de malignité du nodule sur la base de données en sortie du RNA. Les techniques comprennent de nouveaux développements et de nouvelles mises en oeuvre de réseaux neuronaux artificiels et des extractions de caractéristiques pour des images numériques. Le résultat de la méthode de l'invention permet d'obtenir une estimation de la probabilité de malignité (S7) pour un nodule pulmonaire.
