Abstract

The aim of the invention is to improve the surface abrasion resistance of molded bodies consisting of closed-surface foamed plastics, especially of the reactive foam coatings of steering wheels. To this end, 0.5 to 4 wt.-% of a peroxide are added to the starting material used for production, which substantially consists of polyisocyanate, polyol and physical or chemical foaming agents. Said peroxide is dissociated at the temperature which is established during the exothermal reaction of polyisocyanate and polyol.
