Abstract

The invention provides a self-predicting communications network and method, that is, a computer network configured to act as a communications medium and a simulator simultaneously. Such a computer network comprises at least one source unit configured to generate messages, at least one destination unit configured to receive messages, and at least one intermediate device coupled to both the source unit and the destination unit for passing the messages therebetween. The intermediate device is configured to respond to the messages so as to provide future state information of at least a portion of the computer network.
