Abstract

The invention concerns a card (1) comprising a plastic card body (2) and a detachable module (3) maintained on the card body by one or several plastic links and comprising a chip with integrated circuits electrically connected to contact pads flush with its surface. The invention is characterised in that the card body comprises an opening part (6) whether precut or not with dimensions substantially close to those of the module and designed to enable the module to be reversibly fixed. The invention is applicable to SIM cards in particular.

When the cutting tool comes cut the module from above, that is to say on the side of the contact pads, a step is performed as shown in Figure 2B. However, when the cutting tool cuts the module from below, the profile is reversed. It is thus possible to create ledges of different types along the edges of the module and, in the same way, along the edges of the opening 6. By organizing these ledges, it is possible to provide a locking system improving the fixing the module in its housing. FIGS. 4A, 4B, 5A, 5B show such a system in which the module has, along its various edges, opposite trapezoidal profiles, the opening 6 having opposite profiles.

Claims

REVENDICATIONS
1. Carte (1) comportant, d'une part, un corps (2) de carte plastique et, d'autre part, un module (3) sécable retenu à une première partie d'ouverture dudit corps (2) par une ou plusieurs liaisons (4) plastiques et comprenant une puce à circuits intégrés connectée électriquement à des plages (5) de contact affleurantes à sa surface, caractérisée en ce que ledit corps (2) de carte comporte en outre une seconde partie d'ouverture (6) prédécoupée ou découpée aux dimensions sensiblement voisines du module (3) et destinée à loger ledit module (3) de manière réversible.1.
