Abstract

A novel microorganism Corynebacterium glutamicum CJ31-0210 is disclosed. This strain is not capable of fermenting acetic acid and yields a very high fermentation concentration of L-lysine. In addition, a method for producing L-lysine which comprises culturing Corynebacterium glutamicum CJ31-0210, removing the strains from the culture and isolating L-lysine from the culture is disclosed.
