Dans un mode de réalisation de ce module, le conteneur renferme une substance gazogène dans laquelle se trouve un dispositif amorceur qui est connecté à un système d'alarme. Les parois du corps du module à poudre comportent des segments où la section ou le matériau dont elles sont faites sont affaiblis, ceci de manière à garantir l'ouverture du corps lorsque la pression des gaz augmente dans la cavité du corps du module, et à éjecter ainsi la poudre d'extinction du feu. Dans d'autres modes de réalisation, ce module comprend un élément thermosensible fixé à la paroi du corps, un élément accumulateur d'énergie ou d'alimentation, un dispositif générant des instructions de déclenchement du module et, comme dans le premier mode de réalisation, un conteneur fixé à la paroi du corps.
