Abstract

A method for implementing a radio link protocol adapted for efficient data transmission in radio environments. The radio link protocol proposed by the invention is used along with a sequence number reservation method proposed for mobile communication systems adapted to provide packet data services, so that the radio link protocol can support data transmission problem free with varying transmission rates.
