Abstract

The invention relates to a module consisting of polymer materials and containing chosen microchannel systems, and to a method for producing a module of this type. The inventive model with microchannels consists of a polymer film (2) whose thickness corresponds to the desired channel depth, with recesses (1) in the shape of the desired microchannel structure. An upper (4) and a lower (3) cover layer provide a seal for this microstructured film on both sides. The cover layers are planar on the side facing towards the structured film and form the top and bottom surfaces of the channels. At least one of the two cover layers has at least two entrances (5) to the microchannel system in the microstructured film. The inventive method for producing a module consisting of polymer materials and containing microchannel systems comprises the structuring of one or several films with the microchannels and connecting one film with the two cover layers in order to seal the microchannels.
