Abstract

The equipment is comprised of one or more assemblies (10) for coordinated templates intended to form a graphic pattern; they are flexible and susceptible to be adapted to the shape of the user's head in an application area (B) by pressing it against the skull; the equipment comprises at least a first template (10a) with one or more holes (11a) which delimit the contour of a portion of a graphic pattern (C) and a second template (10b) with one or more holes (11b) which delimit the contour of another portion of the pattern (C); a set of pincers for holding the plates (10) to the hair area (B); a set of brushes including at least one brush for thick application of pigments or dyes through the holes (11a, 11b) of said plates (10) and a brush for following the contours which is comprised of a stick ended by an absorbing part.

EOUIPO FOR APPLICATION OF GRAPHICAL REASONS IN THE HAIR AND PROCEDURE FOR USE

Field of the Invention

The present invention concerns a team of templates and tools for application of graphic motifs in the hair, by painting figures in the space delimited by one or more holes made in plates with holes, the contour of whose holes follows the silhouette of any capricious figure, the templates being coordinated with each other to jointly form a graphic motif. The invention also concerns a method for the use of said equipment. The invention provides a good definition and great stability of the motif formed on the hair.

The equipment and method of the present invention is useful for a professional application in the hairdressing sector or for a particular recreational application. Background of the invention The Spanish utility model No. 260,790 is known in the state of the art

(5) in which an improved template for painting figures on hair is described, constituted by a rigid base positioner support, provided with lateral guides, on whose base support a portion of parallelized hair is placed, and above of these, sliding along said guides, a plate affected by one or more holes is located and immobilized whose contour follows a silhouette of an animal, a vegetable or a capricious form. Said holes constitute the access of paint or colored lacquer applied by projection or brushstroke.

Said utility model No. 260,790 (5) has several drawbacks: First, since the use of a single plate is provided for each figure, said utility model is only suitable for painting simple silhouettes, without characteristic details inside or outside with different colors. On the other hand, due to the existence of a rigid base support for said plate, the application of the drawing can only be carried out in an area of the hair considerably away from the birth thereof, whereby said application is only suitable for people with the remarkably long hair, being excluded for this reason a large number of possible users. In addition, the drawing is very prone to blur due to the greater propensity of the hair to become entangled in this area so far from the birth of it.

It is also known to apply graphic motifs on the hair using templates using paints or dyes applied with a sprayer (popularly known as "spray"). However, spray-applied paints usually run and also affect only the most superficial hair layer, so that, when moving or combing hair, graphic patterns tend to disappear covered by unpainted hair.

Therefore, an objective of the present invention is to provide equipment and method for the application of graphic motifs in the hair, in which each graphic motif is capable of being formed by various silhouettes, shapes, etc. , coordinated, and of different colors.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide equipment and method for the application of graphic motifs in the hair, whose graphic motifs are applicable to hair of any type, color and length, and have excellent permanence and stability.

In addition, another objective of the present invention is to provide equipment for the application of graphic motifs in the hair that brings together all the elements necessary for said application, whether at a recreational level, particularly intended for children or young people, or professionally. These objectives are achieved, in a team according to the present invention, by providing: one or more sets of laminar plates, coordinated to form a graphic motif, of flexible material, capable of bending to adapt to the shape of the head in the area of application, each set of plates comprising at least a first template with one or more holes that delimit the contour of the silhouette of a graphic motif and a second template with one or more holes that delimit the characteristic contour of the interior part of said silhouette, or other adjacent, complementary forms thereof; - a set of tweezers, including at least two tweezers for holding the plates on an area or portion of the hair, with cranial support; and a set of several brushes, for application of pigments or dyes through the holes of said plates, including at least one brush for application thick pigments or dyes and a contour tracking brush for fine application of pigments or dyes, consisting of a bar topped by an absorbent portion of said pigments or dyes.

Preferably, the equipment also includes at least one additional laminar plate, with a wide hole that delimits the contour of an area of the scalp capable of covering said graphic motif, through which hole a bleaching substance can be applied. This bleaching substance is, on the one hand, essential to apply certain dyes to dark hair and on the other hand it is very convenient in all cases since it provides greater porosity to any type of hair.

The proposed equipment includes a formative support of a palette with cavities to receive said pigments or dyes, or said bleaching substance, poured into them, to make mixtures of colors and to facilitate the wetting of the brushes. Typically, the same formative support of the palette also includes a plurality of compartments to accommodate containers for pigments or dyes, bleaching substances and a lacquer, and the sets of laminar plates, tweezers and brushes.

In a complete embodiment, especially for playful use, the equipment of the invention also includes a light, simplified electric dryer.

It is an essential characteristic of said equipment that each set of laminar plates is constituted by at least two coordinated templates to form a graphic motif, being in some cases a first template for the formation of a silhouette and a second template for the formation, by superposition , of characteristic details of the interior of said silhouette, or adjacent complementary forms thereof, and in other cases, a first template serves to form one or more silhouettes that coordinate, without overlapping, with the silhouettes formed by a second template to complete Different parts of a figure.

Another essential characteristic is that the plates are made of laminar and flexible material, which allows them to be curved to adapt to the shape of the head, with the plates being held on a previously straightened area or portion of the hair, tensioned and optionally lacquered, by said set of hair clips, which includes at least two clips. The area of hair chosen will preferably be close to the birth of the hair, with cranial support, which makes the graphic motifs applicable to people with any type and length of hair.

The pigments or dyes that are part of the equipment are, as desired, permanent, that is, resistant to washing the hair, or temporary, that is, they can be removed by washing it. In the case of permanent pigments being used, the drawing remains apparent after styling or washing, even on long hair, since a curtain effect occurs because the pigments applied by brush have penetrated to the lower layers of the hair.

Finally, another feature of the equipment according to the present invention is that of gathering all the necessary elements for the application of graphic motifs in the hair in a palette that, in addition to cavities for orderly housing said elements, such as plates, tweezers, brushes and colorants, it includes other empty cavities destined to lodge the pigments or colorants or bleaching agents, poured into them, to make mixtures between them and to facilitate the wetting of the brushes.

The present invention also provides a method for the use of the equipment set forth above. The procedure includes the steps of:

(a) select, flatten and smooth an area of the hair, close to its birth especially in the case of long hair, with cranial support;

(b) fastening on said area of the selected hair a first of said templates of one of said sets of laminar plates by means of at least two of said tweezers;

(c) applying one of said pigments or dyes selected for said first template through the holes by: said brush for thick application of the pigment or dye in the cleared areas of the holes; and said contour tracking brush for fine application of the pigment or dye to the contours of the holes;

(d) dry the pigment or dye applied while keeping the first template in place;

(e) fasten on said area of the selected hair a second of said templates of the set of laminar plates chosen, by means of at least two tweezers, so that the holes of said second template coordinate with the previously applied silhouette;

(f) repeat the steps described in the step, but applying the pigment or dye selected for said second template;

(g) dry the pigment or dye applied while keeping the second template in place; if there are more than two templates, repeat the steps for each template and subsequent corresponding pigment or dye; Y

(h) remove all remaining equipment elements in the area of the selected hair to terminate the application of the graphic motif corresponding to the set of laminar plates chosen.

Preferably, between stage (a) and stage (b) they also include steps of:

(al) holding said additional laminar plate on said selected hair zone by at least two of said tweezers;

(a2) applying said bleaching substance through the hole of the additional laminar plate over an area capable of covering the graphic motif to be applied; Y

(a3) drying said applied bleaching substance keeping the additional laminar plate in place.

Step (a) conveniently includes a lacquer of the chosen hair zone.

The method according to the invention has a variant that consists in that one or more of the second and subsequent templates are held in place after the first or previous template has been removed, so that color is applied on areas not colored by means of a previous template.

A detailed description of the present invention is given below with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: Brief description of the drawings Fig. 1 is a general perspective view of a possible embodiment of the equipment for application of graphic motifs in the hair, in accordance with the present invention; Fig. 2 is a representation of a set of brushes and / or bars for profiling and finishing integrating said equipment; Fig. 3 is a schematic representation of a set of flexible laminar plates, comprising in this example two coordinated templates to form a graphic motif; Fig. 4 is a view illustrating a portion of a person's head, in this case with short hair, with a graphic motif resulting from the application of the equipment of the invention; and Fig. 5 shows an example in which the equipment has three laminar plates or templates, intended for defining a motif on dark hair, with prior discoloration of an application area delimited by a first of said laminar templates. Detailed description of some embodiments

A formative support of a pallet 8 with a plurality of compartments for housing all the elements that make up said equipment is illustrated in Fig. 1. These elements consist of: one or more sets of 1 laminar plates or templates, of flexible material, capable of bending to adapt to the shape of the head, provided with one or more holes 2a, 2b following the contour of a capricious figure, any ; a set of tweezers 3, including at least two tweezers 3 for securing the plates 1 on an area or portion B of the hair, previously smoothed, tensioned and lacquered, close to the birth of the hair, with cranial support; a set of pigments or dyes 4, consisting of pigments or dyes of different kinds and shades (for example hair mask type, colored clays, waxes, or the like), each contained in a container 5; a set of several brushes 6, for application of pigments or dyes 4 through the holes 2a, 2b of said plates 1; and a hair bleach 7, to provide a light-colored base suitable for the application of pigments or dyes 4 in case of treatment on dark hair, with the help of an additional template that delimits a background, especially designed for a practice professional. Said palette also integrates cavities 8a to receive pigment or dye 4, or bleach 7, poured into them, to make mixtures of colors and / or to facilitate wetting of brushes 6.

Each set of plates 1 (see Fig. 3) comprises at least one first template the one with one or more holes 2a to form the silhouette of the graphic motif A, and a second template Ib with one or more holes 2b to form, by superposition, the characteristics of the inner part of said silhouette, or other adjacent complementary forms of the same. Each of said templates is located in the chosen zone B of the hair and is immobilized in said position by at least two tweezers 3. Said set of brushes 6 (see Fig. 2) includes two or more brushes 6a, differentiated, for thick application of pigments or dyes 4 through the holes 2a, 2b of said plates 1, to cover the areas of greater surface area and a brush 6b for fine application of pigments or dyes 4, formed by a bar finished off by an absorbent portion of said pigments or colorants 4, for the follow-up of the contours of the holes 2a, 2b of the templates la, Ib and realization of finishing details.

In Fig. 4, a portion of a person's head is illustrated, in this case with short hair, with a graphic motif A obtained by the equipment for applying graphic motifs in the hair, object of the present invention, on an area or portion B of the hair, previously straightened, tensioned and lacquered, close to the birth of the hair, with cranial support. In this graphic motif A, in this case an airplane, two different silhouettes of different colors can be distinguished: The fuselage in a dark tone and the wings in a medium tone. Said two different silhouettes of different colors have been obtained by the application of a set of plates 1 corresponding to the graphic motif A of said aircraft, which comprises a first template with two holes 2a to form the silhouette of the fuselage, and a second template Ib with a hole 2b to form, in this case after having removed the first template, the wings of said plane, illustrated in Fig. 3. The wing marks have been obtained with a third template (not shown) by application superimposed on the previous two. If the person had dark hair, an application with the bleach 7 prior to the application of the pigments or dyes 4 would be given, using an additional template as described in the example of Fig. 5.

An example of application in which three laminar plates or templates 9, 10a and 10b are used are illustrated in Fig. 5. The additional laminar plate 9, similar to the previous ones, has a wide opening 9a that delimits a zone D on which a bleaching substance will initially extend, on whose discolored zone D subsequently apply, as indicated in Fig. 3, first the template 10a to define by means of the contour of its opening line, the silhouette or contour of the motif C to be defined and then the template 10b, in this case superimposed , keeping the template 10a in place, which through its holes 11b will allow to define various features of, in this case a figure, the motive C cited.

It is obvious that the figure of said plane (Fig. 4) or grotesque face (Fig. 5) are just some illustrative examples of the infinite motifs that can be obtained with this equipment, including figures of animals, plants, comic characters and cartoons, objects, alphanumeric characters, and any capricious form, and that each of the motifs can be obtained through a set of multiple flexible, superimposable laminar templates, and according to an infinity of different color combinations.

Claims

1.- Equipment of templates and tools for the application of graphic motifs in the hair by painting figures in the space delimited by one or more holes made in plates with holes, the contour of whose holes follows the silhouette of any capricious figure characterized because said equipment is composed of: one or more sets of laminar plates, coordinated to form a graphic motif, of flexible material, capable of bending to adapt to the shape of the head in the area (B) of application, each set comprising plates (1, 10) at least one first template (la, 10a) with one or more holes (2a, line) that delimit the outline of the silhouette of a graphic motif (A, C) and a second template (Ib, 10b) with one or more holes (2b, 11b) that delimit the characteristic contour of the inner part of said silhouette, or other adjacent, complementary shapes thereof; a set of tweezers (3), including at least two tweezers (3) for holding the plates (1, 10) over an area (B) or portion of the hair, with cranial support; and a set of several brushes (6), for application of pigments or dyes (4) through the holes (2a, 2b, lia, 11b) of said plates (1, 10), including at least one brush (6a) for thick application of pigments or dyes (4) and a contour tracking brush (6b) for fine application of pigments or dyes (4), consisting of a bar topped by an absorbent portion of said pigments or dyes (4).

Equipment according to claim 1, characterized in that it also includes at least one additional laminar plate (9), with a wide hole (9a) that delimits the contour of an area (D) of the scalp, capable of covering said motif graphic, through whose hole (9a) a bleaching substance (7) can be applied.

Equipment according to claim 2, characterized in that it includes a formative support of a palette (8) with cavities (8a) suitable for receiving said pigments or dyes (4), or said bleaching substances (7) poured into them , to make mixtures of colors and to facilitate the wetting of the brushes (6).

4. Equipment according to claim 3, characterized in that said pallet also includes a plurality of compartments for housing containers (5) for pigments or dyes (4), bleaching substances (7) and a lacquer, and the sets of laminar plates (la, Ib, 10a, 10b), tweezers (3) and brushes (6, 6a, 6b).

5. Equipment according to claim 1, characterized in that said templates (la, Ib, 10a, 10b) laminar are transparent.

6. Equipment according to claim 1, characterized in that said templates (la, Ib, 10a, 10b) laminar are photographic negatives of motifs to reproduce, with holes following contours or features.

7. Equipment according to claim 1, characterized in that it also includes a dryer (12).

8. Equipment according to claim 7, characterized in that said dryer (12) is a lightweight, simplified electric dryer.

9. Equipment according to claim 1, characterized in that said pigments or dyes (4) are resistant to hair washing.

10. Equipment according to claim 1, characterized in that said pigments or dyes (4) are capable of being eliminated by washing the hair.

11. Equipment according to claim 1, characterized in that each of the templates (la, Ib, 10a, 10b) belonging to each set laminated plates (1, 10) coordinated includes a signal indicative of the sequential order of its application.

12. Procedure for the use of the equipment according to any of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that it comprises the steps of:

(a) select, flatten and smooth an area (B) of the hair, close to its birth especially in the case of long hair, with cranial support;

(b) fastening on said area (B) of the selected hair a first of said templates (the, 10a) of one of said sets of laminar plates (1, 10) by at least two of said tweezers (3);

(c) apply one of said pigments or dyes (4) selected for said first template (la, 10a) through the holes (2a, lia) by: said brush (6a) for thick application of the pigment or dye (4) in the cleared areas of the holes (2nd, line); and said contour tracking brush (6b) for fine application of the pigment or dye (4) to the contours of the holes (2a, line);

(d) dry the pigment or dye (4) applied keeping the first template in place (Ib, 10b); (e) hold on said area (B) of the selected hair a second of said templates (Ib, 10b) of the set of laminar plates (1, 10) chosen, by at least two tweezers (3), so that the holes ( 2b, 11b) of said second template (Ib, 10b) coordinate with the previously applied silhouette;

(f) repeat the steps described in step (c), but applying the pigment or dye (4) selected for said second template (Ib, 10b);

(g) dry the pigment or dye (4) applied keeping the second template in place (Ib, 10b); if there are more than two templates, repeat the steps (e, f, g) for each template and subsequent corresponding pigment or dye; Y

(h) remove all remaining equipment elements in the area (B) of the selected hair to terminate the application of the graphic motif corresponding to the set of laminar plates (1, 10) chosen.

13. Method according to claim 12, characterized in that between stage (a) and stage (b) include steps of:

(al) holding said additional laminar plate (9) on said area (B) of the selected hair by means of at least two of said tweezers (3);

(a2) apply through the hole (9a) of the additional laminar plate (9) said decolorizing substance (7) over an area (D) capable of covering the graphic pattern to be applied; Y

(a3) drying said applied bleaching substance (7) keeping the additional laminar plate (9) in place.

14. Method according to claim 12, characterized in that step (a) includes a lacquer of the area (B) of the selected hair.

15. Method according to claim 12 or 13, characterized in that one or more of the second and subsequent templates (Ib, 10b) are held in place after having removed the first or previous template (la, 10a).
