Abstract

L'invention concerne généralement une couverture pour article de literie. Suivant un aspect de l'invention, cette couverture inclut un non-tissé à plusieurs couches délimitant une doublure intérieure d'un revêtement d'article de literie. Cette doublure, et plus généralement ce revêtement, est formée de manière à enfermer sensiblement l'article de literie (matelas, oreiller ou autre). La couverture inclut en outre un tissu externe intégralement fixé à la doublure intérieure du non-tissé à plusieurs couches. La couche externe peut être constituée d'un tissu, tel que la flanelle, le coton, le satin, etc. Par exemple, si la couverture est destinée à un oreiller, le tissu externe devrait être assorti aux autres articles de l'assortiment de linge. Ainsi, le tissu externe sera, de préférence, en coton s'il destiné à une taie d'oreiller d'un jeu de draps de coton, en flanelle pour un jeu de draps de flanelle. Dans un autre aspect de l'invention, on décrit une couverture pour meubles capitonnés, qui inclut un textile nontissé filé-lié nontissés de fusion-soufflage intégralement fixé à un tissu externe. Les deux tissus associés sont ensuite particulièrement dimensionnés et modelés pour recouvrir le meuble. Ce meuble peut être, de préférence, un sofa, une chaise, un canapé deux places, une ottomane ou un autre article de mobilier. La couche de tissu externe peut être une étoffe ou un autre tissu, selon le meuble. Le procédé de l'invention présente à cet égard une doublure intérieure pour article de mobilier autrement capitonné, ladite doublure formant une barrière imper-respirante mais efficace contre les acariens détriticoles.
