The invention concerns a sleeping mat for animals, in particular for dairy cows, designed to be placed on the ground of a stall to provide them with comfortable sleeping accommodation, comprising an outer cover (2) wherein is inserted a synthetic core lining (3). The cover (2) consists of a top wall (2a) and a bottom wall (2b), mutually linked by a peripheral seam (4) and by intermediate seams (5) mutually spaced and transversely distributed on said cover (2) to form a segmentation thereof into several mutually independent sections (6), and designed to receive a lining (3) from one of the inserting zones (7) provided with means for opening/closing said cover (2), also for changing said lining (3). An abrasion-resistant and tear-resistant covering cloth remains advantageously placed on the cover.

Mattress for animals, in particular dairy cows, intended to be placed on the floor of a stall in order to constitute a comfortable bed for them, of the type comprising an external envelope (2) in which is inserted a synthetic padding lining (3) , the envelope being constituted by an upper wall (2a) and a lower wall (2b), interconnected by a peripheral seam and by intermediate seams (5) spaced from one another and distributed transversely on said envelope (2) to form a segmentation thereof into several strands (6), independent of each other and intended to receive the lining (3), characterized in that it comprises an insertion zone (7) provided with re-closing opening means (8) of the casing (2), capable of also allowing the replacement of the lining (3), the introduction zone (7) of the lining (3) in the tubes (6) being constituted by an internal chamber ob held at one of the ends (A) of the envelope (2) by the interruption of the intermediate seams (5), starting from a peripheral end seam (4a) and not joining the seam (4b ) from the opposite end, so that one end (6a) of the tubes (6) is closed while each of their other ends (6b) opens freely into this interruption chamber (7) and in this that the opening-closing means (8) are arranged transversely to the right of said free ends (6b) _ " flanges (6).
