Abstract

The invention relates to a data transfer system for transmitting a digital control signal (SSt) or the feedback signal (SRSt) thereof. According to the invention, said data transfer signal comprises a transmitter device (2) with a constant power source (16) and a first current switch (18), a transmission channel (4) with a maximum of four lines (8, 10, 12, 52) and a receiver device (6) with a control signal decoupling device (30). The first current switch (18) is connected to a first output of the constant power source (16) on the input side and to a forward line (8, 10) on the output side, on whose signal input (24) a control signal is located, wherein the control signal decoupling device (30) is connected to both forward lines (8, 10) on the input side and to a return line (12) on the output side, on whose signal output (38) the transmitted control signal (SSt) is located and wherein the return line (12) is connected to a ground terminal (GND+) of the transmitter device (2). The data of the control signal (S¿St?) is thus transmitted using a single current loop in a three or four line connection with no coupled grounding line. Said data transfer system displays higher interference immunity in a wider temperature range owing to the permanent flow of constant current in the current loop.
