- Battery chargers for removable battery packs for cellular telephones, video cameras and the like are known.
- known chargers are not as convenient as is desirable for a number of reasons. Some such charges allow the battery pack to be slid into place in a charger in a manner that permits the batteries to be charged while still attached to the device on which it is normally used.
