Abstract

On décrit un procédé et un appareil permettant d'établir des services de communication de données numériques (DDS), entre des premier et deuxième sites reliés par des câbles standard, le procédé consistant à convertir des signaux DDS standard en deux flux de données qui sont envoyés entre deux endroits par deux canaux de communication en duplex intégral. Les canaux sont établis entre deux émetteurs-récepteurs de communication en duplex intégral situé au premier endroit et deux émetteurs-récepteurs de communication en duplex intégral situés au deuxième endroit. A chaque endroit, les signaux reçus sont recombinés en un unique flux de données représentant des services de communication DDS qui sont disponibles pour l'équipement d'extrémité de voies au site du fournisseur de service (par exemple un équipement D4) et pour l'équipement terminal du consommateur. Les émetteurs-récepteurs établissent la communication par l'intermédiaire de formats de modulation utilisant la bande de fréquence vocale, par conséquent ils sont capables de fonctionner sur des longueurs de câbles supérieures et sur des câbles chargés. Les dispositifs situés au central comportent une interface réseau, un séquenceur et deux émetteurs-récepteurs. L'interface réseau sert à connecter les dispositifs au réseau. L'interface réseau communique avec le séquenceur, ce dernier agissant en temps que multiplexeur/démultiplixeur étant donné qu'il sépare le flux de données de transmission en deux flux de données séparés respectivement associés à chacun des émetteurs-récepteurs et étant donné qu'il reçoit deux flux de données provenant des émetteurs-récepteurs et qu'il les combine en un unique flux de données de réception qui est envoyé à l'interface réseau. Les dispositifs situés à distance sont configurés de manière similaire excepté pour ce qui concerne leur interface qui est adaptée pour être connectée à l'équipement de traitement de données de l'utilisateur.
