Abstract

Cette invention a trait à une technique de transmission de communications confidentielles par téléphone, caractérisée par le fait qu'elle comporte les étapes suivantes: association desdites communications à une série de codes mémorisés dans au moins une mémoire (CM) d'un dispositif d'émission (13), sélection dans le dispositif d'émission d'un ou plusieurs codes prédéfinis associés à ces communications, adjonction des codes sélectionnés à un ensemble de données se trouvant dans au moins une mémoire (CM, IM) du dispositif d'émission, codage de cet ensemble de données dans le dispositif d'émission à l'aide d'au moins un algorithme se fondant sur le contenu d'un compteur périodique (CL) connecté, transformation des données codées en signal acoustique, émission de ce signal acoustique à partir du dispositif d'émission par l'intermédiaire d'un téléphone (12) à couplage acoustique avec ledit dispositif, réception du signal acoustique sur un récepteur (8, 9) relié au réseau téléphonique (10), transformation du signal acoustique reçu en un ensemble de données codées et décodage des données reçues sur le récepteur à l'aide d'au moins un algorithme se fondant sur le contenu d'un compteur périodique connecté. L'invention porte également sur des dispositifs d'émission et de réception exécutant la technique susmentionnée.
