Abstract

Front window bearing structure for cabs, provided with arcuate chamfered molded portions (32) formed at upper corner sections of hte cab by a frame (31) of a front window (4) provided movably from a front side of a cab to a ceiling side thereof, a plate member (33) provided on the interior side of each chamfered molded portion (32) so as to be integral therewith, a locking mechanism (34) provided on the side of an outer surface of the plate member (33), and a striker, which is retained by the locking mechanism (34) and provided to the portion of a cab body which is opposed to the locking mechanism (34) of the front window (4) in a closed state in such a manner that the striker is integral with the cab body. This eliminates a part projecting into the interior of the cab with the front window in a closed state, and improves the availability of the space in the cab.
