Abstract
A dilution curve measuring instrument functioning also as an infusion device, a short-period dilution curve measuring instrument permitting continuous measurement, and a method therefor. Parameters of a logical function are calculated from measured values by using the logical function to separate primary circulation, re-circulation and high-order re-circulation waveforms. In other words, a mathematical model of a dilution curve is created and solved from the measured values to obtain primary circulation, re-circulation and high-order re-circulation curves. The measurement accuracy is improved by correcting physiological changes of the dilution curve by the heart dynamic waveforms, thus making high speed injection of an indicator possible. The output (one-minute value) and the output per pulse are corrected by the heart dynamic waveforms. This invention provides also a percutaneous absorption type dilution curve measuring instrument and a method therefor, a dilution curve measuring instrument having a diagnostic function, and a dilution curve measuring instrument having an alarming function. When tubes are controlled from outside by the infusion pump in accordance with a pseudo-random time-series by removing the DC component, pigment can be intermittently supplied accurately and constantly in accordance with the pseudo-random time-series in the case of percutaneous absorption, leakage can be removed, if any, and the pigment in the blood can be removed, too.
