Abstract

The invention aims at substituting the long duration aerosols which are used in automatic dosers. This is achieved by means of a piston which compresses and stores air in an elastic tank. Said compressed air is suddenly released and provides through an appropriate sprayer, an atomization level which is not lower than that obtained with liquefied gas. The movement of the piston is an alternating movement, acting in one half of said stroke as compressor and the remainder of the stroke as air accumulator. The apparatus is provided with the elements which are necessary for its regulation. The advantages of the invention are evident: substitution of non recyclable packages by packages which are recyclable. Considering that only one 1 to 2 % of the content of the aerosol is active product and that said sprayer permits the diffusion of oily products, the new atomizer makes it possible to eliminate 99 % of gas and solvents which are toxic for human kind and nature.
