Abstract

L'invention concerne un aérodyne comportant un rotor du type double, coaxial contrarotatif à deux hélices, et son application à un hélicoptère-avion pour tirer profit des caractéristiques des aérodynes. Lors du vol en mode hélicoptère, le pilotage de l'avion se fait par gravité. Le rotor est entraîné par deux moteurs placés de part et d'autre de l'arbre porte-hélice. Un vérin hydraulique permet la transition, de position verticale en position horizontale, de l'arbre porte-hélice monté pivotant au moyen d'un système d'engrenages. Lors de la transition verticale-horizontale de l'arbre porte-hélice, un engrenage déplace simultanément l'aile. L'ensemble du système moteur-rotor est suspendu pivotant et inclinable grâce à des vérins hydrauliques. L'avion comporte également un stabilisateur horizontal et une dérive.
