Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un système qui renforce l'interactivité d'informations multimédia dans un réseau de câbles fermé tel qu'un système de réseau hôtelier ou analogue, lorsque ledit réseau est utilisé en association à un service en ligne. Ce système comporte une pluralité de dispositifs de traitement multimédia, un système de communication multimédia, un système de commande vidéo, une plate-forme d'opérations de servitude et une pluralité de dispositifs interactifs. Ce système présente l'avantage de comporter des algorithmes de compression et/ou de transmission qui maximisent la mise en valeur des informations multimédia. Il assure notamment une interactivité renforcée des informations multimédia par un réseau de câbles fermé tout en permettant un accès amélioré à un ou plusieurs services en ligne avec une modification minimum apportée au réseau existant.
