Abstract

The present invention relates to a toothbrush which includes a body, a handle, a brush, and a through-hole formed on the handle, wherein a flexible member having a plurality of buffer protrusions is fixed in a fixing groove formed on the front surface of the upper part of the handle and a plurality of acupressure protrusions is formed on the rear surface of the upper part of the handle, and a protrusion is provided on an inner wall of the through-hole for maintaining a predetermined gap between the inner walls of a through-hole, so that the user may feel good touch while brushing his teeth by the flexible member and the protrusions of the handle and the inferior goods of which the inner walls of the hole are united together due to the shrinkage by the injection molding may be prevented by the protrusion formed on the inner wall of the through-hole.

Description

TOOTHBRUSH
Technical Field
This invention relates to a toothbrush in which a flexible member and protrusions for finger-pressure treatment are formed on the both sides of a handle of the toothbrush so as to improve the feeling to the touch, and a protrusion is formed on an inner wall of a through-hole for maintaining a predetermined space in the through -hole so as to maintain the hole in spite of shrinkage due to injection molding.
Background Art
In general, a toothbrush comprises a body in the shape of bar, a handle connected with one end part of the body at one end thereof, and a brush connected with the other end part of the body. Users brush their teeth with the toothbrush by removing it left and right or up and down with a hand.
In this case, the body may be formed in various shapes other than the bar shape so as to improve aesthetic feeling and a through-hole may be formed in the handle for squeezing and using up toothpaste contained in a tube.
The conventional toothbrush is formed of a rigid synthetic resin to keep stiffness, so that it has a disadvantage that the toothbrush is hard to the touch, therefore, degrade the quality of goods.
Further, the through-hole formed in the handle to squeeze the toothpaste contained in the tube becomes narrower or joined together due to shrinkage during injection molding.
Disclosure of Invention
It is an object of the present invention to provide a toothbrush in which a handle is provided with a groove on the front surface in which a flexible member having a plurality of buffer protrusions on the front surface thereof is fitted and acupressure protrusions on the rear surface for finger-pressure treatment to improve the feeling to the touch of a handle while use.
It is another object of the invention in which a hole to insert a toothpaste tube for squeezing the toothpaste is not shrunk while injection molding, thereby improving the reliability of goods.
The above objects of the present invention can be achieved by a toothbrush which comprises a body in the shape of bar, a handle connected with one end part of the body, a brush provided to the other end part of the body, and an extruded through-hole on the other free end part of the handle, further comprising a flexible member formed of flexible materials to be fixed in a fixing groove on the front surface of the handle and having a plurality of buffer protrusions and a plurality of acupressure protrusions formed on the rear surface of which the front surface is fixed with the flexible member, and a protrusion for maintaining a predetermined gap between the inner walls of a through-hole.
Brief Description of the Drawings
The invention will be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
Fig. 1 is a perspective view for explaining the structure of a toothbrush according to an embodiment of the present invention!
Fig. 2 is a rear view for explaining the structure of the toothbrush of Fig. 1 ;
Fig. 3 is a front view for explaining the structure of the toothbrush of Fig. 1 ; Fig. 4 is an enlarged sectional view for explaining main parts of the toothbrush of Fig. 1 ; and
Fig. 5 is a partially enlarged view of the lower end part of the toothbrush of Fig. 1.
Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
Fig. 1 is a perspective view for explaining the structure of a toothbrush according to an embodiment of the present invention. In Fig. 1, a toothbrush 100 comprises a body 10 of which one end part is provided with a brush 30 to brush users ' teeth and the other end part is provided with a handle 20 for the user to grab the toothbrush 100.
A fixing groove 11 is formed on the handle 20 for the user to grab by hand. A flexible member 50 formed of flexible materials is fitted in the fixing groove 11 by being inserted therein. The flexible member 50 and the fixing groove 11 are stuck together with adhesives 80. The flexible member 50 is formed of synthetic resins such as silicon with a and provided with a plurality of buffer protrusions 51 , thereby to improve the feeling to the touch. Therefore, when the user brushes his teeth with the toothbrush 100 according to the present invention, the user may feel good touch from the handle due to the flexible member 50 and the buffer protrusions 51 which are formed thereon. Referring to Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 respectively showing the front and rear view of the toothbrush according to the present invention, a plurality of acupressure protrusions 60 is provided for finger-pressure treatment on the rear surface of the handle 20 of which the front surface is fixed with the flexible member 50.
In more detail, the user grabs the toothbrush by hand, for example, his thumb presses the flexible member 50 and his second finger presses the acupressure protrusions 60 so that the user may feel good touch while brushing his teeth.
Referring to Fig. 3 and Fig. 5, a through-hole 40 is formed in the handle 20 longitudinally from a middle part to a free end part thereof. Considering the thickness of the toothpaste to be pressured, the space of the through -hole 40 is relatively longer than the width of a toothpaste tube and narrow, so that the user may easily insert the toothpaste tube into the through-hole 40 and squeeze it up.
Further, a protrusion 70 is formed on the lower part of an inner wall of the through-hole 40 and prevents the inner walls of the through-hole 40 from decreasing or joining together, maintaining gab therebetween in spite of shrinkage by the injection molding.
According to the present toothbrush as described hereinabove, the flexible member is fitted into the fixing groove of the handle and has a plurality of buffer protrusions and acupressure protrusions are formed on the rear surface of the handle for the finger pressure treatment, so that the user may feel good touch while brushing his teeth.
Further, the protrusions are provided on one inner wall of the through-hole of the handle so that the inferior goods of which the inner walls of the hole are united together during the injection molding may be prevented, thereby improving the reliability of goods.
While the invention has been described by reference to specific embodiments chosen for purposes of illustration, it should be apparent that numerou s modifications could be made thereto by those skilled in the art without departing from the basic concept and scope of the invention.
