A light beam which is shone through the pupil will be deflected by the angled mirror onto the internal surface of the ocular bulb , thus allowing a very clear , sharp visual inspection of areas which would not otherwise be visible without the use of a video probe.

Abstract

L'objectif de cette invention est de produire la surface interne du bulbe oculaire visible et accessible à un Laser par l'utilisation d'un instrument à miroir conçu spécialement. Ce miroir (1) est inséré dans l'oeil (2) à travers une incision de la cornée et il est positionné sur le faisceau de lumière (3) du microscope dévié par le plan de la pupille jusque sur la surface interne du bulbe occulaire. L'instrument à miroir se compose d'un bras métallique rigide mince (4) ayant été conçu spécialement, lequel tient au niveau de son extrémité un miroir (1) de forme et de taille spéciales attaché fermement au bras métallique.
