- My invention deals with mirror systems and in particular a mirror system for general observation and for use during Laser beam micro surgery made on internal surface areas of the ocular bulb.
- This mirror system can be inserted into the eye through an corneal incision and is positioned in line with the pupil from the internal side of the eye. A light beam which is shone through the pupil will be deflected by the angled mirror onto the internal surface of the ocular bulb , thus allowing a very clear , sharp visual inspection of areas which would not otherwise be visible without the use of a video probe.

Abstract
L'objectif de cette invention est de produire la surface interne du bulbe oculaire visible et accessible à un Laser par l'utilisation d'un instrument à miroir conçu spécialement. Ce miroir (1) est inséré dans l'oeil (2) à travers une incision de la cornée et il est positionné sur le faisceau de lumière (3) du microscope dévié par le plan de la pupille jusque sur la surface interne du bulbe occulaire. L'instrument à miroir se compose d'un bras métallique rigide mince (4) ayant été conçu spécialement, lequel tient au niveau de son extrémité un miroir (1) de forme et de taille spéciales attaché fermement au bras métallique.
