L'invention concerne un limiteur de courant comprenant des électrodes (11, 12, 13) et au moins un corps (10) à base de polymère et électriquement conducteur, doté d'au moins une surface de contact (100', 100'') extérieure. Une électrode (13) est insérée dans le corps (10) à base de polymère et le corps à base de polymère est appliqué avec ses surfaces de contact extérieures librement contre au moins une électrode (11, 12).
