Abstract

L'invention concerne un format pour l'enregistrement de signaux à lecture en surimpression, dans lequel des segments de lecture en surimpression comprenant des blocs de synchronisation d'information d'un signal à lecture en surimpression sont enregistrés sur des groupes de p pistes successives. Au moins un premier et un deuxième signal à lecture en surimpression sont enregistrés sur le support d'enregistrement. Le premier signal à lecture en surimpression est destiné à être reproduit dans un appareil de reproduction à une vitesse de reproduction égale à n1 fois la vitesse d'enregistrement à laquelle les signaux à lecture en surimpression sont enregistrés sur le support d'enregistrement. Le deuxième signal à lecture en surimpression est destiné à être reproduit dans ledit appareil de reproduction à une vitesse de reproduction égale à n2 fois la vitesse d'enregistrement. Les deux signaux à lecture en surimpression sont enregistrés de sorte que, lors de la reproduction à ladite vitesse égale à n1 fois la vitesse d'enregistrement, m1 blocs de synchronisation d'information du premier signal à lecture en surimpression et m1 blocs de synchronisation d'information du deuxième signal à lecture en surimpression soient lus à partir du support d'enregistrement pendant une rotation du tambour porte-tête dans l'appareil de reproduction.
