  • a card viewer page is another type of page wherein the card viewer page is used to write and to read from selected files. The card viewer page can be used to dump the contents of an entire card.
  • a writable area page can be used, however this page is relevant only from memory cards. The page shows a visual map of the card-to-memory addresses including which cards have been written and which cards are still unused.

Abstract

Cette méthodologie accédant à un outil logiciel définit une approche puissante permettant une interaction avec des lecteurs de carte à puce et des cartes puces. Cet outil logiciel est la concrétisation du moteur logiciel central (composante d'interface), de la série de fichiers de configuration, et des modules enfichables qui viennent ainsi constituer une méthode, non seulement de formatage des cartes mais aussi de compatibilité avec des normes évoluant sans cesse. Cet outil logiciel permet une construction satisfaisante de solutions carte à puce sans qu'il y ait à se préoccuper de détails ennuyeux tels que les spécifications du fournisseur de cartes à puces ou tels que les défis considérables en matière d'interface fréquents dans le cas des lecteurs de cartes à puce. Non seulement les instructions ne sont plus codées dans le dur à l'intérieur d'applications carte à puce, mais en plus, l'accès aux cartes et aux lecteurs se fait, via le composant interface, en utilisant des données qui, stockées dans les fichiers de configuration, confèrent au système de la flexibilité et un potentiel de croissance. Les fichiers de configuration incluent des informations qui indiquent les modalités de communication d'un moteur logiciel avec un système d'information, un lecteur et une carte. Cet outil logiciel constitue une solution clé en main, surtout par comparaison aux actuels outils très rudimentaires de développement d'applications carte à puce, lesquels outils requièrent une masse considérable d'expérience et se limitent à un seul type de carte ou de lecteur.
