Abstract

L'invention concerne un système qui améliore l'interactivité des informations multimédia dans un réseau câblé fermé tel que le réseau d'un hôtel ou un réseau similaire lorsqu'il est utilisé conjointement avec un service en ligne. Le système comprend un système de traitement multimédia (102), un système de commutation téléphonique (108), un système de commande vidéo (104), une plate-forme d'opérations de services (107), ainsi que plusieurs dispositifs (110, 125, 112, 114, 117, 119, 121, 123) interactifs. Ce système présente l'avantage de générer des algorithmes de compression et/ou de transmission pour améliorer au maximum les informations multimédia. Le système permet une meilleure interactivité des informations multimédia dans un réseau câblé fermé tout en permettant un meilleur accès à un ou plusieurs services en ligne avec une modification minimale du réseau existant.
