Abstract

To carry out mobility functions in a telecommunications network (PISN), a host wireless telecommunications installation (PISNB, PISNC) allocates a temporary call number to terminal (KE1) once it detects that said terminal (KE1) is operational in its emission/reception area and reports this temporary call number to the home wireless telecommunications installation (PISNA) assigned to the telecommunications terminal (KE1). Thereafter, the host wireless telecommunications installation (PISNB or PISNC) receives from the home wireless telecommunications installation (PISNA) a subscriber profile assigned to the terminal (KE1).
