Both corresponding markers are stored, for instance, in the file of a specially programmed computer. If a consumer needs a confirmation whether the given product belongs to the mentioned manufacturer, he sends to the address of a manufacturer one of the markers applied to the product label. According to the received marker (“password”) a manufacturer, on the basis of previously stored information, determines response marker ("response”) which corresponds to the received "password” and informs a consumer about this response marker. Comparison of the response marker to the second marker applied to the article allows to determine precisely whether the article being checked belongs to the manufacturer to whom the request was sent.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne l'automatique et peut s'utiliser pour identifier le produit d'un fabricant ou la confirmation d'authenticité financière (banque) de documents, en fournissant l'identité de leur consignateur. Son objet est donc de valider les informations concernant le produit d'un fabricant. On remplit cet objectif de la manière décrite ci-après. Un fabricant (consignateur) affecte à chaque article (document) un code constitué de deux marques différentes, l'applique audit article et l'enregistre dans un fichier d'un ordinateur spécialement programmé à cet effet. Un consommateur peut lire l'une des marques et l'envoyer au fabricant qui vérifie que la deuxième marque correspond à la marque reçue et informe la place commerciale du résultat de cette lecture. L'authenticité d'appartenance du produit au destinataire à qui la demande a été envoyée est déterminée par la concordance entre les deux marques, celle reçue du fabricant, et l'autre, appliquée au produit.
