Abstract

The invention comprises the use of an electroluminescent lamp (100) in combination with recreational items for improved safety and decorative appeal. The electroluminescent lamp (100) being of either the parallel plate or split electrode configuration with a power supply or a means for supplying power incorporated therewith.
