Abstract

A walker for assisting a pedestrian in initiating her gait. The walker includes a stepping target (14) having a shaft (10) affixed to one end thereon. The shaft (10) being of a length such that the stepping target (14) can be positioned in front of the pedestrian's feet while being held by the pedestrian.
