Abstract
For each K subscriber of a cellular mobile radio network who is supplied with one and the same frequency and one and the same time slot a decision-feedback and therefore non-linear antenna pre-processing facility with a decision-feedback structure is used comprising forward filters (101) backward filters (12) and decision circuits (40) for the adaptation of the antenna weighting factors (W11 to WMR), wherein the backward filters (12) are adapted to the length of the processing window D of MLSE (200), and the output signals of the (SFFF) forward filters (101) for the actual data detection are taken to the MLSE (200) of the subscriber concerned, before the subtraction of the feedback (SFBF) component takes place. Each of the receiver structures similar to K can be adapted and operated independently from the other K-1 structures. A common vectorial MLSE for the common data detection of all K subscribers can be employed.
Claims
1. Verfahren und Vorrichtung zur Erhöhung der Teilnehmerkapazität in einem zellularen Mobilfunknetz, die eine phasengesteuerte Gruppenantenne, versehen mit einer Schaltung zur adaptiven Beeinflussung der Antennengewichtsfak- toren (Richtcharakteristik), aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß für jeden der K-Teilnehmer, die auf em- und derselben Frequenz und ein- und demselben Zeitschlitz versorgt werden, eine entscheidungsrückgekoppelte, also nichtlineare Antennen-Vorverarbeitung mittels entschei- dungsrückgekoppelter Struktur, bestehend aus Vorwärtsfilter (101-k), Rückwärtsfilter (12-k) und Entscheider (40- k), zur Adaption der Antennengewichtsfaktoren (wn-k bis WMR-k) eingesetzt wird, wobei das Rückwärtsfilter (12-k) auf die Verarbeitungsfensterlänge D der MLSE (200-k) an- gepaßt ist, und für die tatsächliche Datendetektion das Ausgangssignal der Vorwä^tsf ilterstruktur (101-k) SFFF- vor der Subtraktion des rückgekoppelten Anteils SpBF-k einem dem jeweiligen Teilnehmer zugeordneten MLSE (200-k) zugeführt wird. 1.
