Abstract

The present invention relates to an apparatus for receiving and/or reproducing sound signals which can be used mainly as a domestic multifunctional sound-reproduction apparatus. This apparatus consists of a set of units (1, 2, 3, 4) mechanically connected together by hollow cylindrical hinges (5, 6). Each hinge comprises a hollow insert (9) attached to the units as well as two cup-shaped chambers (8). Electrical connection between the units is made using wires (21) that are located in the cavities of hinges. The emitting regions ('B') are located on the front and back walls of the two end units (1, 2) while control systems of the apparatus are located on the top walls of the different units. The mobile electrical and mechanical connection of the units permits the configuration of the apparatus to be modified while maintaining functionality during extreme or intermediate positioning of said units relative to each other.
