Abstract

Device for compacting packages and publications, the packages being of the type having a general prismatic rectangular shape and being fabricated with rigid aluminum-lined cardboard and the publications being for example magazines, exercise books and the like, the device being provided with means for holding the corresponding package and publication, once they have been compacted, as a cylindrical roll by means of a cord or strap (2) which is attached by one of its extremities (6) to the package (1) itself and which is terminated at its other end by a small flange (5) intended to release the string or strap (2), for its use, the string or strap will be used to hold the publication folded transversally and centrally and rolled towards its back, after breaking the back section on which the string (2) passes.

Description

DEVICE FOR COMPACTING PACKAGING AND PUBLICATIONS. OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The following invention, as expressed in the statement of the present specification, consists of a device for compacting packages and publications, the same being destined mainly for those rigidly aluminized inner cardboard packages, and for those publications of the type of magazine they present its stapled spine so that by means of the device presented, it is possible to hold and keep the empty container or the publication to be discarded rolled on itself, so that it occupies a minimum space.

Through the device presented, it is a question of achieving a selection in origin of the containers in which it is incorporated, in addition to these occupying a minimum space, both in the collection container and in its subsequent storage. Thus, the device can be constituted by a string, ribbon or similar, which at one end is attached to the container, while at the other end, it is detachably attached, so that once the contents of the package have been consumed and disassembled to leave it completely flattened, it will be rolled up forming a roll of a cylindrical general shape, to finally be held so that it occupies a minimum space and avoiding its return to the primitive position.

Likewise, the device adapted to similar magazines and publications, allows to form a roll of a cylindrical general shape, which once properly secured, prevents its return to the original position so that, in this way, the publication to be discarded, also occupies a minimum space

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Every day there are more products that are marketed in rigidly aluminized inner cardboard containers, which have a general rectangular prismatic shape, with a normally variable capacity, between 0.2 I. and 2 I. so that the opening of the They are generally carried out by breaking one end of the container, already manufactured for this purpose, or by detaching a small capsule attached to the upper base of the container, which seals the corresponding hole.

Thus, we can find in containers of the aforementioned type of internally aluminized rigid cardboard, various products such as wine, juices, milk, milkshakes, etc. being many of them products of a massive consumption, which usually generates a large amount of such containers discarded in household waste.

Once the contents of the package have been consumed, the most normal thing is to throw the container in the trash together with the organic waste, so that both by its own volume and by its own disposition together with other containers, they define free holes making a large capacity of the garbage bag is disabled, not taking advantage of it properly. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In the present invention, a device for compacting packages and publications is described, the packages being of the type that have a rectangular general prismatic shape and are made of rigidly aluminized cardboard internally, the device being constituted by a string or ribbon that joins together by one of its ends to the corresponding body to be compacted, the package being compacted as a cylindrical roll, having previously disassembled and flattened it to produce winding from the bottom to the upper base.

Thus, the string or ribbon joins solidarity by one of its ends to the container itself, while at the other end it is finished off in a small tab that facilitates its release at the time it will be used to tie the roll defined in the container wrapping

The string or tape may be of variable length being jointly joined by one of its ends to the body of the container, preferably, by the inner central part of the closure flap of the container, thus keeping the string or tape hidden under said flap, arranged on the upper base of the container.

Likewise, the string or ribbon joined by one of its ends in solidarity with the body of the container can be arranged on the central part of one of its major faces, being under the outermost layer of the container itself or hidden by a cover that can even act as beautifying

On the other hand, the fastening of the shaped roll once rolled into a container can be carried out by means of a pair of adhesive strips, which overlap the container by keeping the shaped roll in position.

Also, the adhesive tape can be glued on the surface of the container itself, when forming the roll and can even completely surround the roll

The device described for compacting packages, is applicable in the compaction of publications of the type of magazines, so that the ribbon or string will be fixed at one of its ends by one of the sewing clips of the publication, and by its Another end is finished off in a small flange, being arranged on the inside of the spine, from the fixing clip to the free end near the spine.

DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT. In view of the aforementioned figures and according to the numbering adopted, we can observe how the rigidly aluminized cardboard container 1 internally presents a conventional rectangular general prismatic shape, being able to have a string or ribbon 2 on the inside of the flap 3, being hidden, or it can be arranged in relation to the central external part of one of its major faces from said flap 3, in which case it can be hidden by a cover or sheet 4.

The aforementioned ribbon or cord 2 is attached to the container 1 by the end 6, while at its other end it is likely to have a small flange S for easy attachment, for example. by simple gluing and subsequent grabbing to facilitate handling at the time that the roll formed with the container is going to be attached.

On the other hand, the length of the string 2 can be variable, and likewise it can be defined by a single end or by a pair of

In Figure 2 of the designs, the container 1 is observed once its content has been consumed and it has been disassembled at its ends to cause flattening with respect to its larger faces, being able to observe the vertex 7 detached on which it has been defined the opening of the container 1.

If the tape or cord 2 is arranged on the inner face of the flap 3, it is perfectly hidden while if it is arranged on the central part of one of its major faces, being also fixed in relation to the flap 3, it can be hidden by a simple sheet or sheath 4 that can act as a beautifier, so that when using the cord 2, said sheet 4 must be detached.

In this way, when tying the roll formed by the container 1 it is avoided that it returns to its original position, so that in this way it occupies a minimum space in the corresponding container and also its selection at source is facilitated.

On the other hand, the holding of the roll formed by the container 1 can be carried out by a pair of adhesive strips 8 and 9 which in the wrapping of the package will be overlapped with each other.

Also, the adhesive tape 8 of variable length and width can be glued directly on the surface of the rolled container itself, and can even be of such length that it allows the defined roll to be completely surrounded and overlapped on itself for fixing the shaped roll.

In those types of packages that have a glued capsule that seals the outlet orifice of the contained liquid, said capsule may be used as a fixing element of the shaped roll once the contents of the package have been consumed.

In a similar way to that described, the device described for the compaction of packages is applicable to publications of the type of magazines and notebooks that have a spine on which the sewing of all the sheets is carried out, for which it will be enough that in the internal part from the spine, from the covers 11 of the magazine 10, the cord 12 arranged by one of its ends is arranged by one of the staples 13 fixing the leaves 14 of the magazine and the covers 11, while its other end it ends in a small tab

Thus, it is allowed to carry out a selective collection of the aforementioned containers, occupying them a minimum space in the container intended for this purpose, as well as in their subsequent storage.
